Eyecare

Lions International and the Amherst Lions put in an exceptional amount of energy and fund-raising effort to seek out, prevent and aid people with eye problems. We:

Host children's eye screening exams at Clark Elementary School every year, Manage the New Hampshire Eye Clinic in Manchester, Manage the Amherst eyeglasses recycling program (1,000 pairs a year to needy around the world!), Contribute to SightFirst and the Lions Eye Health Program,
Maintain public awareness of major eye diseases and their care.
